SOGOS was founded in 1997 as part of the privatisation of the secondary operations of Continental Barum Otrokovice. Fanam was established in 2006 as a result of the transformation of support operations of the joint stock company Fatra Napajedla and privatisation of the former engineering plant. Since August 2017, Sogos has taken over 100% of the shares in Fanam, s.r.o.
Currently, the company employs more than 120 people and, in addition to the original metal production, it mainly carries out repair activities, mechanical and electrical repairs including reconstruction and modernisation of machines, production of new machines, small batch production of technical rubber, gluing of conveyor belts and routine maintenance of machines.
